We will continue learning color theory and explore monochromatic paint systems. We will also pay special attention to brushwork, composition and study the styles of Impressionistic and Modern artists.

Boho Cacti Painting

Self-Portrait Painting

In this class, students will draw and paint a self-portrait using mirrors. First, we will learn about drawing each facial element: eyes, ears, nose, mouth, face shape, etc. We will then apply that knowledge to painting a unique self-portrait. We will be painting on canvas.

Painting Wildflowers
Join me as I team up with Petals, Ink to paint on the flower farm!
This is an amazing opportunity to paint with acrylic on canvas using a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from the farm! Class will start with a brief tour of the farm including time to visit with the donkeys and take some photos in the fields. Back at the newly renovated studio, Anneke will guide us through setting up your composition and color mixing while you create your very own floral masterpiece using the fresh cut flowers of the farm as your inspiration. All artistic levels are welcome! Anneke wants to provide the space you need to feel confident, comfortable and joyful about your painting experience.

Each person will have their own canvas to paint and take home.
**Wear comfortable clothing and closed toed, sturdy footwear. A liability release will need to be signed upon arrival and can be viewed and completed here in advanced.
We require 48 hours' notice if you are unavailable to attend the workshop. We do not offer refunds, but you will receive credit which can be used for a workshop on a different date or another product. No-shows are not eligible to receive credit.

Pattern Painting with Flowers

In this class, we will use live flowers to create floral patterns. This class will focus on design, and how to mix color combinations to create an appealing floral design on canvas. Students will have the opportunity to arrange flowers with different colors, sizes and textures to influence his or her work. We will be painting on canvas!

Landscape Painting - Sound of Music Vibes

Painting on Wood Panel 10/21

We will create a beautiful and unique painting on a wood panel. As each panel is different, each painting will be individualized per the artist.

Open Studio - Friday After School

The studio will be open for students to create as they please! Materials will be available to make art during this time. During open studio, mediums might include painting, pastels, collage, oil pastels, charcoal and more!

Online Illustrative Drawing - Monthly

Join me online and draw with me! This is a drawing class with flair! We will learn about drawing techniques and fundamentals while drawing animals, humans, objects & architecture in an illustrative way. Some watercolor will be used, but mostly graphite pencil & colored pencils will be used.

Is your child curious about writing and illustrating comics or graphic novels? We will explore story arc, layout, sketching thumbnails, character design and illustrating your comics. Your child can fully immerse themselves into the world of fiction that will hopefully inspire more ideas!

Online Friday Art Class - Watercolor 101

Join me online for a watercolor class this summer! You can join from anywhere from the comfort of your own home or vacation!
We will learn about basic watercolor techniques and create a full painting together.
You don’t need any fancy materials…just some inexpensive watercolors and paper will do.
The Zoom link will be provided a few days before the class via email.
Materials Needed:
Watercolor Set - You probably already have one! If not, Amazon, Michael’s or even the grocery store should have one! Nothing fancy!
Watercolor Paper - Watercolor paper is ideal, but not required. My favorite for students is Strathmore, but is optional. You can also use card stock if you are not able to get watercolor paper

Kick off the summer with this 3-day summer camp where we will be painting flowers and learning from Georgia O’Keeffe and other famous painters.

Color Art Class
Sunday May 14th - 1:00-3:00pm
In this art workshop, students will join me in exploring color! This includes how colors interact, mix and work together to form new colors. Students will have several painting activities including creating a color wheel, painting complimentary color squares and a time to free paint using the new skills learned from the class. Students will leave seeing color differently!

2-Day Spring Break Art Camp
Let’s break out the paints and make a mess for this spring break art camp! Students will have the opportunity to create, explore and paint while you take a break!!
This camp is designed for students who need a mental break from the classroom to let loose and have fun. My bluebonnets will be in full bloom, so we will have some fun with those too!
Dates include: March 15 & 16
Ideal for ages 6 and up
A typical day will look like this:

Christmas Card Making Workshop
Let’s get in the holiday spirit and make some beautiful cards! Each student will have the opportunity to make 20 cards to pass out to classmates, teachers, friends & family. Envelopes will also be provided too!
These will be one-of-a-kind, handmade & well-made!

Drawing Animals
This is a Saturday morning class on November 12th from 9-11AM
We will explore basic drawing techniques such as line, value, form, and apply these to learning how to draw animals and habitats
We will look at several animal themes:

Jungle & Rainforest Animals
This class will also incorporate elements of story-telling and character development.

The Joy of Autumn 4-Week After School Class
This is a 4-week class every Thursday afternoon. The dates for this class include: October 6, 13, 20, 27
Spend 4 class sessions exploring the season of autumn through a new lens. Imagine a low setting sun with an amber glow, bright red apples fresh off the vine or the crunch of brown leaves gently floating through the crisp air! The art pieces we create will embody the essence of fall in a beautiful and intricate way.
We will also discuss some historic famous artists such as Van Gogh and Cezanne who both contributed to the enchanting feeling of fall with their paintings!

Saturday Morning Bookmaking Workshop
Students will create a new character from start to finish, then begin the process of writing a story. Students can also choose a graphic novel format.
Materials will be provided to make an entire book. Writing proficiency is not required. This class is for any child who loves to read and make up stories. Only an imagination is needed!

Little Travelers Art Camp

Thursday July 21, 2022, 9-12PM
We will spend day the creating art inspired by all things travel! Planes, trains and RVs! We will explore fun and beautiful destinations, and even photographs from your travel will be requested for our projects!

In the Garden 2 Day Art Camp

Wednesday-Thursday June 15-16, 2022, 9-12PM
We will spend 2 days exploring art with a garden theme. Dirty, soil, gardening tools, flowers, plants & veggies will all be a part of this camp. Drawing, painting and collage will be included in these art classes!

A Fiesta of Color

Blue + Aqua Ocean Theme Workshop
Inspired by the colors blue + aqua, we will study oceans using a variety of mediums while creating some fabulous art projects!

4 Week After School Class - Every Friday
For this 4 week study, we will focus on art elements and drawing techniques. This class is for anyone who wants to improve his or her drawing skills. Classes will be an hour and a half to give us plenty of time dig deeper into drawing mechanics.
